1. 2 vertex model

The following data have been surveyed on 1719 models:
  • Failure to breakeven rate: 27% (That is, 27% in 1719 transactions this pattern fails to breakeven). This rate is quite low.
  • The average reduction is 14%. Not too big.
  • The pullback rate is 63%. The pullback rate of this pattern is quite high, so traders can wait for the price to return to the already broken neckline to trade.
  • The rate of achieving the target price is 45%.
2. Bunting flags

This model can be in an up and down direction, so we will have statistics in both directions. Numbers surveyed on 700 to 900 models:
  • Failure to breakeven rates: 54% (increase) and 56% (decrease). This rate is quite high.
  • The average increase or decrease is 7% (increase) and 6% (decrease). This rate is too low.
  • The pullback rates are 63% (decrease) and 57% (increase). The pullback rate of this pattern in both directions is quite high, so the chance of re-entry is quite high.
  • The percentage of achieving the target price is 34% (increase) and 30% (decrease). This rate is not very good.
3. Head and shoulder pattern

This is a very popular reversal pattern and is surveyed on 2,800 models:
  • Failure to breakeven rate: 19%. The rate is quite low.
  • The average reduction is 19%.
  • The pullback rate is 68%. High.
  • The percentage of reaching the target price is 51%.
4. Model cup and handle

This model data is surveyed on 912 models:
  • The failure to break even the rate is very impressive at over 5%. This ratio, which makes the cup and handles model quite reliable (especially when there are fundamentals in favor).
  • The average increase of 52% is also quite high.
  • The pullback rate is 62%. The pullback rate of this model is also quite high.
  • The rate of achieving the target price is 62%. This is a much better rate than the above models.
5. Isosceles triangle model

This is also a pattern that can be a bullish or bearish signal. So we will look at both directions as well. This model is surveyed on 1000 models:
  • The failure rate to breakeven is at 25% (increase) and 37% (decrease). This shows that the uptrend is more beneficial for the trader.
  • Average increase / decrease is 34% (increase) and 12% (decrease). Still more beneficial increases.
  • The pullback rates are 62% (increase) and 65% (decrease).
  • The percentage of achieving the target price is 58% (increase) and 36% (decrease). Still, the uptrend is much more beneficial for us.
6. Flag pattern

Flag pattern rose

Falling flag pattern

This model is surveyed on 100 models:
  • The failure rates to breakeven are 10% (increase) and 8% (decrease).
  • The average increase is 10% (increase) and 8% (decrease).
  • The pullback rate is 53% (increase) and 63% (decrease).
  • The percentage of achieving the target price is 53% (increase) and 60% (decrease). This rate in the chess model is quite good.
